Sawyer

Sawyer was a very cool dog. He had a wonderful, bubbly temperament and was always eager to work and please. He had a great attitude and a heart of gold. He had a balanced side-gait and a strong, correct rear.

He was an ASCA Conformation Champion. He earned all majors toward his championship in the intact program, and finished his singles in the altered program. Due to life circumstances, he was not shown or trialed as much as we would've wanted. Sawyer had a lot of potential.

He sired one litter, with our Moose, at the beginning of 2011 and the pups turned out to be hard-workers and kind companions. We kept one puppy, Horse, out of that cross.

Sawyer spent his retirement keeping watch over our tortoise, Nugget, chewing on his rubber artichoke, and generally being a happy, good boy.

Sadly, we lost Sawyer 12/9/2020 at the age of 13 after a short illness. He is missed every day.
